Stained Glass: Beginning (Copper Foil)
This class is designed for students who have had no previous glass working experience. A pre-selected variety of patterns are provided from which to choose. You will learn basic stained glass terminology, pattern preparation, glass selection, glass cutting techniques, proper use of tools and equipment, copper foiling and soldering techniques.

Classes are conducted in 4 sessions of 2 hours each. The fee is $120 for the class plus the cost of glass chosen for your project (typically $15) Class size limited to 6 students.

Stained Glass: (lead Came)
This class is for students who have had previous glass working experience. This is an excellent opportunity to 1) create another panel using the skills you learned in our copper foil class and 2) learn new techniques. A pre-selected variety of patterns are provided from which to choose. You will learn stained glass terminology, pattern preparation, proper use of tools and equipment, leading, soldering, puttying and cleaning techniques.

Classes are conducted in 4 sessions of 2 ½ hours each. The fee is $135 for the class plus the cost of glass chosen for your project (typically $20) Class size limited to 6 students.

Stepping Stones/Mosaic Table Top

If you already do stained glass work, use your left over scrap glass to make a beautiful garden stepping stone or tabletop.

If you have no previous experience, we’ll teach you how to select and cut your glass in a mini-workshop prior to class starting.

You will choose from a variety of pre-selected patterns to complete your project.

The class is conducted in 2 sessions of approximately 3 hours each.

The fee is $75 + materials (approximately $40) (Wrought Iron Table Base is additional $45-Optional) For those with no previous glass cutting experience, an additional $45 fee will be charged for the mini-workshop to learn how to cut glass.

Glass Bead-Making:
This class is for those interested in learning the basics of flame working by making glass beads. You will be taught basic safety, flame working terminology and proper use of tools. (No prior experience is necessary)

This is a 3 hour class. The fee is $85, which includes materials. Class size limited to 4 students.

Bead-Making (Intermediate): This class builds on what you learned in the Introductory Bead-Making class. The fee for this 3 hour class is $95, which includes materials.

Bead-Making (Borosilicate (Pyrex): Take your bead-making skills to the next level using hard glass. Prerequisite: Introductory and Intermediate Bead-Making. This 3 hour class is limited to 2 students. The class fee is $110, which includes materials.

Fusing:
In this class you will learn the basics of fusing glass in a kiln, terminology, basic safety, etc. We will teach you how to cut glass and how to use the tools properly for the successful completion of your fusing projects. You will create an embossed tile, a suncatcher, jewelry (if you’d like) and even have the opportunity to paint glass for tiles or coasters. (Artistic experience is not necessary) Class size limited to 4 students.

This is a 3 hour class. The fee is $85, which includes materials and kiln time.

Glaskolben
Blown Glass Christmas Ornaments

Glaskolben is the German name for the clear glass cylinder used for blowing glass balls in making Christmas Tree Ornaments.

You will learn how to decorate these glaskolbens with a variety of frits and powders (crushed glass) and stringers (thin rods of glass). You will learn how to heat them properly in order to blow them into a beautiful Christmas ornament.

This is a 2 ½ -3 hour class. Typically, our students leave with approximately a dozen ornaments they’ve made.
