Class Schedule

STAINED GLASS CLASSES

COPPER FOIL METHOD

No previous glass working experience is required.  This class is for students who want to learn the Tiffany-style of stained glass.  A pre-selected variety of patterns are provided from which to choose. You will learn stained glass terminology, pattern preparation, glass selection, glass cutting techniques, proper use of tools and equipment, copper foiling and soldering techniques.

Class Fee $130 + Glass (typically about $15) 4 sessions

Scheduled Classes

4 Wednesdays: Feb. 8, 15, 22, 29, 2012 from 6-8pm
4 Saturdays: February 4, 11, 18, 25 from 11am-1pm


LEADED METHOD

No previous glass working experience is required.  This class is for students who want to learn this centuries old art of building leaded glass windows. You will learn stained glass terminology, pattern preparation, glass selection, glass cutting techniques, proper use of tools and equipment, leading, soldering and water-proofing techniques. If you took a Copper Foil class, this is also an excellent opportunity to 1) learn new techniques and 2) create another panel using the skills you learned in our copper foil class.  A pre-selected variety of patterns are provided from which to choose.

Class Fee $150 + Glass (typically about $20) 4 sessions

4 Saturdays: March 10, 17, 24, 31 from 11am-1pm

New: Flex Schedule Classes: Same instruction as regular class but you come in at your convenience.

HOT GLASS CLASSES

LAMPWORKING (Bead-making)

Introduction to Bead-making: $85 includes all materials

No experience necessary.  You will learn how to make glass beads to use in making your own jewelry.

Bead-making classes are scheduled on an 'as needed' basis.  If you are interested in a bead-making class, please let us know so we can schedule one.  
 

FUSING
Introduction to Fusing:This is a 2 hour class.  $85 includes all materials  No experience is necessary.  In this class you will learn the basics of fusing glass in a kiln, terminology, basic safety, etc. We will teach you how to cut glass and how to use the tools properly for the successful completion of your fusing projects. You will create beautiful jewelry using a specialty glass called 'dichroic'. Each of your pieces will be unique because YOU created them.  Join us and let your creativity show.
